How Long Do You Brush Your Teeth? Print E-mail
Brushing your teeth should be an important of your ritual for your overall oral health. We are taught how to brush correctly at an early age. But somewhere along the line we decide to take shortcuts in our technique and also time taken.
Even though it only need take two minutes twice a day many of us can't even manage that. A new toothbrush called the 30 second smile may be the solution. The design of the brush with its dual head reduces the time needed to effectively clean your teeth to only half a minute.
Along with reducing the time needed to brush your teeth it eliminates a lot of the user bad habits that creep in over the years. Being an electric toothbrush, powered by battery, it brushes back and forth at the required rate.
The heads of the 30 second smile are also angled at 45 degrees to ensure teeth and gums are brushed following the Bass method recommended by dentistry schools.

You can read a full 30 second smile review here. In it we discuss fully the science behind the brush, what dentists think of it, what customers think of it and the results of an independent University study into it comparing it with two other leading electric toothbrushes.
